Fixxxer is the 8-minute closing track on metallica's seventh studio album, reload,  released on 18 November 1997. For decades, it was considered one of the band's most elusive "white whales," as it remained unplayed in a live setting for nearly 25 years until its debut in 2021.

Personal Meaning: It is widely interpreted as a commentary on child abuse, family trauma, and the struggle to "fix" the cycle of pain passed down from parents—themes echoed in Hetfield’s later discussions about "72 seasons" of childhood

Voodoo Imagery: The lyrics use metaphors of voodoo dolls and pins to describe emotional manipulation and psychological scars

Song Structure: Clocking in at 8:16, it is the longest track on Reload and features a prominent, slow-building riff and a raw, melodic chorus about "falling in love with life again
